Selamtaye Yedres by  Tlahoun Gèssèssè
This week’s sample comes from Ethiopian singer, Tlahoun Gèssèssè.  Considering that this is from Volume 17 of a 27 album compilation of Ethiopian songs from 1960s and 1970s, I’m pretty sure there will be plenty more Ethiopian samples to come for WBS.
