This week’s sample comes from Sun Ra’s 1965 album, Fate in a Pleasant Mood. Sun Ra’s musical style was as unorthodox as his lifestyle and philosophies. For example, he thought he was from the “Angel Race” and believed he was from Saturn, not earth. Check out this video of him literally going crazy on the keys.
