BeatSession 03|07|11

Original Sample:

Where is She Today by Positive Change

We try to post these BeatSessions by 11:59pm each Monday night. But that is a goal, not a rule. And tonight is one of those times where its a little late. And its not because I was busy doing something important or because I was working on some project for work. Nope. In fact, I had all night to do some research on this week’s sampled artist. Or I could have worked on my beat more. But no — I honestly got distracted by the TV, the lupe concert, words with friends, BBM, and the TV. Sometimes procrastination gets mistaken for dedication.

This week’s sample comes from Positive Change’s 1978 release produced by Al Johnson. The band originated from DC. Speaking of DC, where is PMBeatz?

This week, 10 Producers from around the globe come together to chop up this sample. Thanks for listening each week. peace, @illa0804
